Delete your Spotter.fit account

This page explains how to delete the account you created in the Spotter.fit mobile app or web app, what is erased and what is kept.

In the app

  • Mobile app — open the app, tap the gear on Home, then Account → Details → Delete account.
  • Web app — at app.spotter.fit, select your avatar, then Account → Security → Delete account.

You confirm the deletion, and the account becomes inaccessible immediately.

What happens next

Deletion starts with a 7-day grace period. If you change your mind, sign in before it ends and your account is restored. On the 7th day, or shortly after, everything listed under "What is erased" is erased automatically, and you receive an email confirming that the deletion is complete.

If you are the last administrator of a workspace that has other members, the app first asks you to make another member an administrator, or to delete the workspace. A workspace in which you are the only member is deleted with your account.

What is erased

  • your profile and your sign-in account;
  • your training data — plans, logs, check-ins and their photos, measurements, goals, form videos and survey answers;
  • everything you wrote — messages, comments, notes and announcements;
  • the devices and connected apps linked to your account.

Content you created for a workspace's library — exercises, workouts and plans — stays with that workspace, without your name.

What is kept

  • Invoices and payment records — for as long as tax and accounting law requires: ten years in Portugal. Your name is removed from the payment records we hold ourselves.
  • A record that the deletion took place — identifiers and dates only, no content.
  • Backups — database backups reach back 35 days, so your data is gone from them within 35 days.
  • Server logs — kept for up to 3 months.

Can't sign in?

Write to privacy@spotter.fit from the email address of your account — or, if you no longer have access to it, tell us that address and we will verify with you that the account is yours. We confirm your request within a few days, and the same deletion then runs.
